AYURVEDIC WANDS

Ayurveda, which literally translates to ‘The Science of Life’ in Sanskrit, is a 5000 year ancient system of alternative healing with its origins in India. It emphasises correcting physiological and energy imbalances in the body through various practices, which also include Yoga.

An Ayurvedic beauty and wellness tool which predates even the Gua Sha, the Kansa wand is a facial and body massage device made of wood and Kansa metal, designed to balance energy points on your body and face, called the ‘Marma’ points

Kansa is an ancient alloy of copper and tin, and has been around for approximately 5000 years. It is considered a sacred metal, traditionally used in Indian and Tibetan traditions to make temple bells. It also mitigates the three Doshas, viz; Vata, Pitta and Kapha from the skin, even reaching the subcutaneous level. The Kansa metal is also naturally antibacterial, making it an ideal massage tool for hygiene reasons as well. The Kansa wand can be used with a variety of products such as oils, serums, creams etc.
