This lymph fluid is primarily made up of white blood cells and lymphocytes, which attack any disease causing microbes in the blood and protect the immune system. The act of Gua Sha creates a short-term red flush, called ‘petechiae’, on the skin. This redness jump-starts the skin’s repair cycles, increasing collagen production and smoothing wrinkles.
